Contract Roasting Service

Profile Development

For each microlot, three distinct roast profiles are developed. Profiles are created in 1/4-pound batches, taking into account:

  • Brewing method (espresso or filter)
  • Coffee variety
  • Physical bean properties: moisture and density

Cupping Session

A guided cupping is conducted with the client to evaluate all three profiles and select the one that best expresses the coffee’s qualities and aligns with the client’s objectives.

Production Roasting

The final production roast is executed in 2-pound batches for consistency across the lot.

Roasted Coffee Sales

Roasted coffee is sold under the Kaiserblick Specialty Coffee brand to local coffee shops and for wholesale. Custom branding is available for wholesale orders.
