Leopold (Leo) Robner is the founder of Kaiserblick Specialty Coffee and is currently responsible for Green Coffee Trading and European market development.
Background
Leo has a 25-year career in software development, project management, and business consulting. In 2025, he moved to Apaneca, El Salvador, along La Ruta de las Flores, and founded Kaiserblick Specialty Coffee with the aim of combining outside business expertise with deep coffee knowledge to elevate the quality and traceability of Salvadoran specialty coffee. After working closely with Guillermo Ríos, Leo handed over the management of Kaiserblick to him in order to focus on green coffee trade and the European export market.
Role at Kaiserblick
Leo is focused on:
- Green coffee export to Europe
- Developing relationships with roasters in German and French-speaking markets (Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands)
- Leveraging his fluency in five languages to build the international customer base
He plans to represent Kaiserblick at events including Coffee Festival Berlin, the Brussels Coffee Show, and direct outreach across European coffee markets.
