Coffee Master El Salvador

BSOC’s flagship premium programme. A 7-night in-country trip to El Salvador (1–8 February 2026), preceded by 3 days of online theory. Price: €2,000 incl. VAT; includes hotel, breakfast, and in-country transport. Certificate: Coffee Master (Gold).

Regions visited: Apaneca-Ilamatepec, Tecapa-Chinameca, Alotepec-Metapán, El Bálsamo.

Programme content: Farm and beneficio tours, hands-on harvest and processing, cupping sessions, roasting workshops, green coffee analysis, and institutional visits to the Escuela de Café de El Salvador and the Consejo Salvadoreño del Café.

This programme places BSOC students in direct contact with Salvadoran growing regions, producers, and institutions — creating a pipeline of German coffee professionals with first-hand El Salvador experience.

Partner Network

BSOC maintains equipment partnerships with Dalla Corte, La Marzocco, ECM, Eureka, Franke, Jura, and BRITA (water filtration). Its origin partnerships include:

  • Tierra Bendita (El Salvador) — Jorge Cruz’s farm in Alotepec-Metapán; also the founding farm of the BioKrop agroecological cooperative
  • El Barbaro Coffee Farm — El Salvador
  • Fincas Mierisch — Nicaragua

The Tierra Bendita partnership indicates that BSOC already has an established sourcing or referral relationship with an El Salvador producer.

Additional Services

Beyond courses, BSOC offers:

  • Consulting: Café concept development, location and equipment selection, staff training — on-site or at BSOC
  • Catering: Barista trainers travel to companies, events, and trade fairs across Germany with full equipment
  • Room rental: Training rooms available for hire in the Uhlandschloss building
  • In-house coaching: Custom training programmes for café teams
