Cimbria A/S is a Danish manufacturer of industrial processing, handling, and storage equipment for grain, seeds, food, and other bulk products, founded in 1947 in Thisted, Denmark. Part of the AGCO Group. Cimbria’s coffee portfolio spans dry milling equipment (HANSA SM hullers, gravity separators, destoners, screen cleaners) and large-scale turnkey green coffee processing lines. Their primary market is industrial-scale, but the HANSA SM10/SM14 is specifically positioned for micro-mill operations and is the key evaluation item for Kaiserblick.

HANSA SM — Combined Huller and Polisher

Primary Cimbria product for specialty dry milling. Combines hulling and polishing in a single pass using “blunt hulling” — fluted broad hulling cheeks + friction under pressure inside the cylinder. Achieves polishing as an integrated by-product of the hulling mechanism.

Key advantage: Processes both dry parchment (washed/honey) and dry cherry (natural) without machine changeover — one machine for all process types. Integrated polishing means no separate polisher is required.

SKP-4 — Parchment Husker/Polisher

Alternative for operations processing parchment only. Low-temperature operation — protective of heat-sensitive aromatics. Choose SKP-4 over HANSA SM if the operation is exclusively washed/honey and temperature sensitivity is a priority.

DELTA Screen Cleaners

Pre-cleaning and size grading before and after hulling. Industrial standard for seed/grain cleaning; applicable to green coffee.

Screen gradersDelta 122, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128Size grading into multiple fractions

Destoner (TS series)

Air-flotation stone and heavy-impurity removal. Models TS 90-S through TS 400. Standard dry mill component.

Gravity Separator (GA series)

Fluid bed + vibration density sorting. Models GA 31 (smallest) through GA 310 (largest) plus LAB GA for sampling. Digital HMI with Siemens PLC, recipe database, remote connectivity. Bean size range: 0.5 mm (fine seeds) to 20 mm. The GA 31 may be appropriate for Kaiserblick’s throughput scale.

Optical Sorters (SEA series)

Industrial-grade color/AI-based defect sorters. SEA.CX (RGB full-color) and SEA.IQ PLUS (BRAIN AI system). Primary market is large trading companies and industrial processors. Phase 2 / long-term consideration for Kaiserblick.
